THE CARS

Here are the infamous cars and I fretted about for so long -- thank goodness this part is all over

THE PINEWOOD DERBY

Well my most dreaded time of the year turned out to be triumphant this year !!!! The Pinewood Derby was a huge success!!! CAMERON WON 1ST PLACE AND DILLON WON 2ND PLACE!!!!

I am a very proud mama what can I say. It wouldn't have been a success without my mom, google and hobbytown!!! It almost sounds like an Emmy speech-- actually that would be a Pinewood Derby Emmy speech. We would like to thank all the little people that made this possible. HA HA !! Enough of that-- I am very proud of those boys and their sportsmanship -- And I have never seen a bigger smile than on those 2 boys faces when they told them they won.

Good job boys!!!!!

Dillon's stitches

So as you all read in the latest blog -- Dillon went through the glass coffee table ( and no I don't drink coffee and why do they call it a coffee table - I am going to call it a cocoa table now ). So I thought I would share the pictures of his newest scar. He wasn't very happy going to the emergency room to get the stitches and he certainly wasn't happy getting them out. Everyone in my office new he was getting them out because he was crying so hard. The stitches were kind of scabbed over and she had to dig a little to get them out. Not a happy Dillon. Cameron wanted to watch - so he was standing behind me and then all of sudden I heard this small little voice say-- "Mom can I sit down......I turned very quickly to see Cameron completely white and just about ready to pass out. So he sat down pretty fast and I was asking him if he was alright and he just looked at me with a blank look on his face. Grandma took him out to the waiting room to wait and Sherry said it took him a good 5 minutes to even answer anything she asked him. Dillon stopped crying for a minute to watch Cameron and then we finally finished up taking out the stitches. Then the poor boy wanted to stay with me at work-- but Grandma took him under her wing and exited quickly with him before too many more tears fell. I know the pictures a bit graphic but thought I would share anyway.
